Congratulations to this year's winning store for furniture and furnishings, Hendricks Home Furnishings' two stores in Virden. Hendricks offers inventory that includes classic to more contemporary, a vast but well-organized showroom with hundreds of possibilities that still feels manageable, and a team that can handle special orders with ease. In addition, shoppers find variety in style, color and budget, a genuine sense of quality, and a hands-off approach for those who just want to browse. All this and more make for ease and satisfaction when shopping at Hendricks.
A standout feature is the collection's variety. Not content to offer a handful of pieces in a slightly larger handful of styles, all available in tan, gray or blue, Hendricks offers solids, prints, accents, and finishes for every room. There is something for just about every taste if it's quality you want.
In both the Hendricks main showroom and in the outlet store, the goal is "real furniture for real life." The website notes the company specializes in "the kind of furniture you search for and keep ... high quality with timeless style so your kids want to keep it in their home."
Add to that the delivery and financing services, and it's no wonder this year's Best of Springfield voters chose Hendricks. Just 40 minutes south of Springfield, Hendricks has been serving central Illinois for 75 years years and we hope they'll continue for that many more.
