The World Affairs Council Central IL (WACCI) is hosting Ambassador Reyna Torres Mendivil. Learn how the government of Mexico works with the U.S. and other countries on migration, counter-narcotics, trade and development and other issues. Mendivil has held various positions in the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She was general director for Latin America and the Caribbean, deputy general director for international policy on human rights and deputy chief of staff to the secretary of foreign relations.
