A Message at Midnight

This play by Ken Bradbury takes place on Christmas Eve 1864 in the White House. President and Mrs. Lincoln (Randy Duncan and Pam Brown) are visited by Gen. U.S. Grant (Dennis Rendleman) as they await news from General Sherman's campaign to capture Savannah, Georgia. No message has been received in over six weeks. The play was originally presented at the U.S. Grant National Historic Site in St. Louis. Curtain is at 3pm both days. Run time is approximately 50 minutes followed by a candlelight walking tour of Lincoln Home site.
