Animal Remains from the Berger Site

Dr. Terrance J. Martin, curator emeritus, Illinois State Museum, will present a program titled, “Animal Remains from the Berger Site, a late 18th Century Property in the Original French Village of St. Louis, Missouri.” Nearly 7,500 animal remains provide information on the importance of wild and domesticated animals to the local economy and on interactions and trade with Native American groups.
