U.S. Route 66, one of the original highways in the United States Numbered Highway System, was officially designed on Nov. 11, 1926. In honor of the Route 66 Centennial, the Pharmacy Gallery, in co-ordination with the Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau, has an extraordinary exhibit by Springfield’s nationally known, famed Route 66 artist Bob Waldmire.
