CANCELED: Sangamon County Historical Society Meeting
The history of the Illinois National Guard will be presented by Adriana Schroeder, command historian of the Illinois National Guard. She will discuss how the Illinois National Guard started and how it has evolved through the years. The Guard and the 129th Regiment Regional Training Institute are headquartered at Camp Lincoln. Schroeder holds a master's degree in museum studies and a bachelor's in history from the University of Central Oklahoma.
