Chatham Paws-a-Palooza/Kite up the Park

Chatham Friends of the Park has combined two festivals into one big family/pet friendly event to raise money for the ongoing construction, landscaping and maintenance of the Community Dog Park while promoting animal adoptions and responsible dog ownership.
There will be multi animal shelters on-site with adoptable dogs and featuring a shelter dog pageant, live music with Dave Littrell, and Star Six Nine. Dog demonstrations, multiple performances by the world champion St Louis Disc Dogs, a demonstration from Chatham K9 officer Dagz, a pet/owner costume contest, an agility course for the public, pet games, pet themed vendors, and food by the Chatham Jaycees. Kite Up the Park will feature giant stunt kite demos, kites for kids to fly and buy and more…all in a festival atmosphere.
Friendly, leashed dogs (please no retractable leashes) and up to date on all vaccinations, are WELCOME!!!
