Clara Irwin's Strawberry Party

Clara Irwin, the spouse of the Elijah Iles House's second owner, was known for her promotion of horticulture, and renowned for the quality of her strawberries and her strawberry shortcake parties in the 1840s and 50s. Live music by Mark Mathewson and Friends. Enjoy strawberry shortcake, ice cream, cold beverages and a recitation of the Pledge of Alliance. Donations welcome.
