Day Trip!: The Legacy of Saint Louis

Join the Illinois State Museum Society for a relaxing day trip to St. Louis. Tour starts with a visit to the “Tuskegee Airmen: America’s Freedom Fighters” exhibit at the Soldiers Memorial Military Museum followed by the historically significant and newly restored rooms at the Old Courthouse, which was the site of the important Dred Scott and Virginia Minor cases. Afterward, the motorcoach will take particiapnts to lunch followed by a trip to East St. Louis to visit the House of Miles and learn how the legendary Miles Davis continues to inspire youths.
