Día de los Muertos Family Day

Celebrate Día de los Muertos with the Illinois State Museum with a day full of activities including a community Ofrenda, Calavera paintings, storytelling and artmaking. Dance performances and lessons will happen throughout the day and food will be available. Visit our community tables to explore Springfield and beyond. Dia de los Muertos Family Day is a free public event from 10 am to 3 pm. A list of activities is on the website. Program is in partnership with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, UIS Diversity Center and Hispanic Women of Springfield.
