The Pharmacy Gallery and friends, Paul and Toula Fox, are hosting a rare and exciting event by bringing to Springfield nationally and internationally known artist, Elliott Sharp. Sharp is an American contemporary classical composer, multi-instrumentalist, author and visual artist. He has been a central figure in experimental music in New York City since the late 1970s. The program will begin with a poetry reading by Sharp from his new book and then transition into the musical portion of the performance of his album An audience Q&A discussion will follow the performance led by UIS Director of Student Media Scott Faingold and artist Paul Fox.
