Equal Daughters, Equal Sons featuring Springfield poets and writers

As part of the many nationwide festivities for America 250, we have invited Springfield Poets and Writers to put on a special one-night performance for the public, featuring poets reading original work about what America means to them. The concept is to have 13 readers- one for each original colony - reading for six or seven minutes apiece. Material is politically wide open and might contain complicated and controversial topics, but this event welcomes all ages.
