Fat Ass 5K & Street Party for Charity

When: Fri., May 8, 4-9 p.m. and Sat., May 9, 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. 2026

The Fat Ass 5K & Street Party runs through downtown Springfield. The race, on Saturday, includes beer, corn dog, doughnut and ice cream stops along with live music and entertainment throughout the route. The 5K at 10am is followed by a street party (11am-3pm) that includes cold Pepsi, Coors beer, barbecue and more live music. All profits go to charity, with a total over $2.2 million dollars to date.
