Fences

Set in the 1950s in a segregated Pittsburgh, the play revolves around Troy Maxson, a once-promising baseball player in the Negro Leagues whose dreams were crushed by racial discrimination. Now working as a sanitation worker, Troy struggles with the burdens of his past while attempting to provide for his family. However, his efforts are often misguided and contradictory, as he tries to protect his loved ones while also creating emotional and psychological walls between them. Fences is directed by Reggie Guyton.
