"Hinterlands" Exhibit Opening

When: Fri., Aug. 8, 6-9 p.m. and Sat., Aug. 9, 6-9 p.m. 2025

Hinterlands are defined as areas beyond a city, less developed and hard to reach. Artists may realistically represent this theme or may interpret it differently, abstractly or more obscurely. Or they may choose subject matter that is different from the theme. Work will be featured by "graduate" emerging artists Ian Winterbauer and Laurie Rollet. Also, famed Route 66 artist/icon Bob Waldmire is being honored and celebrated in the gallery with an exhibit of his work as the Route 66 centennial approaches.
