Julius Rosenwald Portrait Concert

Springfield Choral Society Small Ensembles will present this multimedia concert tracing Julius Rosenwald’s Springfield roots, business success and transformative philanthropy supporting Black education. The temple, partly financed by Rosenwald, offers a meaningful setting. Photographs by noted author and photographer Andrew Feiler will enrich the program. This uniquely Springfield story of national significance unites history, music, faith, education, racial equity and historic preservation for Illinois audiences.
