Land of Stories: Hecho en Illinois

When: Thu., Sept. 24, 5:30 p.m. 2026

Step into Land of Stories, the Illinois State Museum’s America 250 exhibition, and join the after-hours storytelling series celebrating the stories, experiences and traditions that connect us. This month, the museum welcomes friends from the Beardstown Project, Mi Casa es Tu Casa, for an evening exploring what it means to find home in Illinois. Hear stories about what brought them to Illinois, unexpected lessons and the moments when Illinois began to feel like home.
