Leap into Lincoln

Leap into Lincoln is a full morning of immersive experiences which connects people, events, and dances from Lincoln’s lifetime. It is an opportunity to experience, firsthand, the various styles of dance in Abraham Lincoln’s lifetime. Students will have the opportunity to watch Copper Coin dancers perform a variety of dance styles from 1809-1865, including ballets from the Romantic Era (La Sylphide, Giselle and Pas de Quatre), American folk dances and African slave dances.

Admission is free for school groups and chaperones. One chaperone is required per 10 students. Please email us to receive a reservation form.
