Learn to Skate
The Springfield Park District’s Learn to Skate Academy is back for the winter session. Whether your child is stepping onto the ice for the first time or building on existing skills, the program teaches balance, coordination and confidence in a fun, social atmosphere. Classes are available for children ages 3 and older, with levels from Snowplow to Basic 6 — plus free skate and hockey sessions. There are no sessions Jan. 10 or Feb. 7.
