Managing Legacy Trees

Program led by Guy Sternberg. Engage your imagination and think about giant, ancient and unique trees. We will examine what makes monumental and historic trees more than the "renewable resources" of forestry parlance, and discuss how and why they should be managed in these rapidly changing times. Apply what you learn regarding what you can do in your own neighborhood to help preserve a gift that is irreplaceable on a human time scale – our venerable heritage trees.
