Written by local playwright George Heroux and musician Donn Stephens, Moving On is a musical and a love story – more precisely, it is a second love story – of a widow and a widower who meet while visiting the graves of their deceased spouses. Since much of the dialogue is expressed in lyrics, the play contains 23 songs, musical flavors in hip-hop, Bossa Nova, waltz, ballad, shuffle, soft rock, country, country rock, blues, and driving rock, along with an overture.
