Join the Springfield Choral Society, under the direction of Jacobsen Woollen, together with members of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra for one of Springfield’s most-cherished musical traditions. This year’s concert weaves together the majesty of Handel’s Messiah (Part I) with the luminous joy of J.S. Bach’s Christmas Oratorio (Selections), creating an unforgettable celebration of hope, faith and renewal. More than 90 singers and orchestra members will fill the sanctuary.
