Sangamon County Historical Society Program
The historical preservation of the Dana Thomas House will be presented by Mike Jackson, project manager for the project. He will provide a first-hand experience of the six-year effort to return the house to its architectural character in 1910. Jackson, a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, is a Springfield- based architect and historic preservation expert. He led the architectural division of the Illinois Historical Preservation Agency for more than 30 years.
