The World Affairs Council Central IL hosts Ambassador Joseph Westphal at Illini Country Club. He will discuss the U.S.–Saudi relationship and what this means both for our national security and U.S. business opportunities there and other timely issues. Westphal was the U.S. ambassador to Saudi Arabia (2014– 2017). He has held positions in the administrations of Presidents Carter, Reagan, Clinton, Bush and Obama.
