Shakespeare in the Park

A family-friendly event that brings Shakespeare classics to life with performances by the Starling Shakespeare Company, a migratory theater company. VIP tickets are also available for only $25, which not only get you a front row seat at the show, but also supports the Springfield Area Arts Council's mission to enrich the community through the arts! Lawn opens at 6 pm, and the performance begins at 6:30 pm. Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors is a fast-paced romp full of mistaken identities, witty wordplay, laugh-out-loud confusion, and, in this production, puppets! Shakespeare’s Hamlet is the classic story of a family and a kingdom torn apart by political unrest, corruption and grief. Bring chairs or a blanket if not choosing VIP seating.
