The Art of Jazz
Talk about a great night, The Art of Jazz for April is a fantastic treat - a double act that you don't want to miss. The UIS Jazz Band always draws a crowd and performs from 7-8 pm followed by Jose Gobbo and a guest, Brazilian saxophonist Raphael Ferreira. Ferreira is a composer and arranger who has to his credit nine albums and was in 2020 a visiting postdoctoral scholar at the University of North Texas/Division of Jazz Studies. Ferreira and Gobbo perform from 8-9 pm.
