The Art of Jazz

The Art of Jazz moved to Tuesday nights during the summer months, so mark the calendar and don't miss the Max Beckman Quartet in July. Max Beckman, known to some as Waxwell Weckman due to his innovative composition project titled "This Young Man's Heart," curates the Art of Jazz at the Pharmacy Gallery. Max, a multi-instrumentalist, is known primarily as a bass/double bass musician and is a UIS music department faculty member, as well as, a composer and performer. He will bring his quartet and their remarkable musical talents to the Art of Jazz.
