The Houses They Built

This 45-minute walking tour takes visitors around the suburban areas of Springfield with stops at the Dana-Thomas Home, the Executive Mansion, and the Lincoln Home Historic Site neighborhood. Visitors will learn the history behind the architects and builders who created some of Springfield’s most famous homes, the people who lived in them, and their greater significance to the city and history.
