The Little Mermaid

This is a contemporary retelling of the classic fairytale that combines bold, collaborative choreography and an epic playlist of your new favorite songs with universal themes of striving for independence, learning who to trust, finding courage in unlikely places,and discovering your true self. The Little Mermaid has everything you know and love about the original blended with the kind of innovative storytelling through dance you’ve come to expect from a Dance Arts Youth Company production. Show features a cast of more than 40 Dance Arts Studio (DAS) students. It is the unique vision of Dance Arts Youth Company artistic director Gina DeCroix Russell in collaboration with the DAYCO dancers and DAS staff.
