The Mother Road Bones presents "Modern Influences"

The Mother Road Bones is a recent addition to the Springfield Music scene. Founded in 2023, the trombone quartet includes James Nelson, Bill Mitchell, Kody Hartman, and Michael Ross. In their first full concert season, they have been delighting audiences through their virtuosic playing, audience engagement, and mastery of all styles of music. These four are also all active members of many local music organizations and ensembles, and are devoted to developing music for all in the community. This concert will feature pieces, composer, styles, and ideas that have heavily impacted instrumental music of today and tomorrow.
