The Power Of Latinidad In A Fractured World

Award-winning author and equity strategist Carlos Andrés Gómez will lead an interactive workshop exploring Latinidad and identity. Using storytelling, poetry and reflection, he will guide participants in examining how race, culture, gender and intersectionality shape identity and belonging. The event challenges binary thinking and promotes inclusivity and authenticity. Gómez, a Colombian American poet, actor and educator, is the author of multiple acclaimed works and a sought-after speaker. His honors include the Felix Pollak Prize and International Book Award for Poetry. He also co-created a high school program with John Legend on inclusive masculinity. In celebration of Hispanic LatinX Heritage Month.
