Tree Starter Kit Giveaway and Educational Event
Residents can receive free tree starter kits and learn how to plant and care for trees. Hosted by the Springfield Parks Foundation and the Tree Advocate Group to celebrate and educate the community. This event was funded by a $45,000 award for a tree inventory and management plan to help strengthen and grow the city's tree canopy.
