Using Visual Thinking Strategies in the Classroom

A free teacher professional development opportunity that seeks to dispel this notion by introducing methods of facilitating inclusive, open-ended conversations about art with students. Through this workshop, educators will leave with a skill set that invites students to gain skills such as visual literacy, communication, and collaboration. Join Curator of Art and History Education Cori Claycomb at the Illinois State Museum to learn how to make the world of art more accessible for learners of all ages. Teachers will receive 1 CPDU credit for attending.
