Described affectionately as cinematic chamber folk, Verviers blends its classical backgrounds with elements of shoegaze and post-rock. The group combines guitar, cello, percussion, trumpet and sampling into a unique indie/ethnic instrumental stew; think Nick Drake meets slowdive at a Bach recital. Local indie rockers June Mae will open the show. UIS and Lincoln Land Community College music students will be admitted as special guests.
