Wreath Laying Ceremony of the 92nd Annual National American Legion Pilgrimage to the Lincoln Tomb

When: Thu., Feb. 12, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. 2026

Started by World War I veterans and members of The American Legion in 1935, the Legion's annual pilgrimage to the Lincoln Tomb is in its 92nd year. The wreath-laying ceremony that is part of this long-standing tradition will be held at the Lincoln Tomb in honor of President Lincoln's 217th birthday. The public is invited to attend the ceremony. Reservations not required.
